Rise Up Refill offers Free Special Recycling for certain items in partnership with Terracycle, NexTrex & Earthwise Transfer Station of Waitsfield. See what is accepted below and please remember all items should be clean, dry and brought in during regular business hours. No dumping please.

All Brands of Oral Care Products

All brands of oral care products and packaging are accepted including: plastic toothbrushes, floss packs, empty & clean toothpaste tubes, any packaging.

Stretchy Plastic Film #2 & #4

Clean and dry polyethylene (PE), labeled as #2 or #4, plastic film and bags can be accepted. This includes: produce bags, ziploc baggies, grocery bags, bread bags, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, plastic shipping mailers ect.

Eye Care Products & Packaging

-All brands: of used contact lenses and packaging – including blister packs and top foils.

-All brands: of single-dose vials and their foil wrappings, full-size contact lens solution caps, small-size solution bottles and caps, as well as contact lens cases.

-Bausch + Lomb brands: used eye drop bottles and caps including Biotrue®, Blink®, and LUMIFY®

-LUMIFY® Preservative Free Redness Reliever: plastic traps and paperboard sleeves and Biotrue® Micellar Eyelid Cleansing Wipes and their foil wrapping.

Squeezable Snack Pouches

All Brands of squeezable food snack pouches and caps are accepted. They must be clean and dry.

Plastic Razors & Packaging

All Brands of disposable plastic razors, non-electric blades and plastic packaging. No electric shavers

No Longer Accepting Batteries

Due to fire safety, Rise Up Refill is no longer accepting household batteries for recycling. For your own safety, tape off all dead battery terminals for storage and recycling.
