With much pleasure and anticipation, Rise Up Productions announces its Second Annual Rise Up VT Roots and Culture Festival!   The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 29th at the Bundy Center in beautiful Waitsfield VT, right in stride with the pristine Vermont foliage transforming to its red, gold, and green fall hues.   We give thanks for being able to offer another Rise Up Production, featuring some of today's purest and crucial roots reggae artists!   We are so excited for what is in store this year.   The lineup guarantees that this festival will be the hottest reggae festival of '07!     

Rise Up is dedicated to providing the massive with the most cutting edge up and coming artists that the islands have to offer. Hosting events over the past year with artists such as: Midnite, Bambu Station, Ras Attitude, Batch, Abja, we have been able to cultivate Vermont as fertile grounds for the word, sound, power of conscious roots and culture music.

With last year's strong turnout at the premier Rise Up Festival, we are certain of an even higher number of attendees. The family oriented focus and powerful musical lineup combined with this year's festival coinciding with the arrival of the intense fall foliage makes this a not to be missed event.  

Part of the proceeds from this year's festival will go towards grassroots, on the ground efforts to bring medical supplies, support midwifery programs, and set up clean water infrastructures in rural African villages.   By sponsoring Rise Up VT, it would be made clear to all that your business/organization firmly supports not only the arts, but also much needed humanitarian efforts that will directly affect those in need.
